When we dream we're usually at the mercy of some sort of weird casting agency, since the occasional star or whatever level of fame name can make anything from a cameo appearance to a full fledged participant. That's been my case, occasionally.
Last night for no reason whatsoever I found myself at a late-in-the-career Frank Sinatra concert, taking place in what looked like the cafeteria of a military base! Adding to the surrealism, who sits down next to me but character actress Joan Shawlee (jazz band leader in SOME LIKE IT HOT), who I inadvertently offend within seconds regarding a coffee cake. Don't expect a rational explanation. I even got Sinatra's goons upset over a joke I made--the atmosphere was very tense already due to keeping a rather dotty looking Frankie from hitting someone.
I'm confessing such a crazy dream because I'm curious if others have had the most unexpected guest stars in their nocturnal travels.
