Too late, apparently.
Unless you want to book across the street (Red Roof) or up the road (Comfort). Both, I understand are quite acceptable. |

Any five-star hotels in Butler?

The same number there were when you asked that question in regards to this past Bash.

I can't remember a thing these days.

If you have to ask the question, I can only conclude you've never seen Butler.

Can't say as I have.
I do like nice hotels, though. |

Butler is more like adequate hotels. |

My fave, the Algonquin, has those. What about atmosphere, oak paneling, concierge service? |

>>What about atmosphere, <<
It's a horror movie convention, what more do you want in terms of atmosphere? >>oak paneling, << The finest oak-laminated particle board! >>concierge service?<< Well, the husband used to be the concierge, but he died... |

While the Algonquin literally stinks with ambiance, I don't know that I've ever seen it referred to as five star. Of course, it has the advantage of
being in NYC, not Butler PA.

The hotels in Butler are not The Four Points .
What else could you ask? And we might be able to guide you to a really good restaurant.
You say "Wicked" , like it's a bad thing.

It has Matilda the Cat, which is good enough for me. > Of course, it has the advantage of being in NYC, not Butler PA. Indeed. I've often said that Butler, PA's biggest problem is that it's in Butler, PA. |

It had a different cat when I was last there. Of course, that was 1982, so you have to expect that. Nothing against the Algonquin, mind you, but you did want five star and I don't think it rates that. Hell, I think the Grove Park here is three star and it's a lot more posh than the Algonquin, but it ain't got no cat, which is a downside. |

I'll bring a cat, OK?

Yes, but it might end up as the mystery meat in the french fry salad.

I had wanted to attend the 2009 Monster Bash, but the prospect of not being able to stay in the main hotel somewhat lessens the appeal. I'm nevertheless
still willing to opt for one of the smaller lodging places surrounding the venue, provided I could walk to and fro whenever I wanted.
