Finally got a widescreen copy of Colizzi's BOOT HILL (1969), the third part of his trilogy. Spencer and Hill's characters, Cat and Hutch, are not in this one quite as much as the previous two films. Instead we are treated to the addition of Woody Strode, Lionel Stander, Victor Buono and a circus full of characters. This adds a lot of fun to the proceedings, with the only downside being the circus scenes seem a bit busy. As if he was trying to fit a bit too much into the picture. It's up to Cat, Hutch and the circus folk to save a mining town from the ruthless Vic Buono and his evil henchmen. BOOT HILL does not quite feel like the third part of the trilogy, even though Hill and Spencers characters are the same, it works better if you take it on it's own terms. Strode and Stander are wonderful in thier parts, it's just a shame Buono's part was not bigger. And never forget kids, any movie with midget clowns is a movie worth seeing. Fun Factor - 6/10
