Re: Noel Harrison (reply)
I had the good fortune to see Mr. Harrison as King Arthur in a local production of "Camelot." I quite enjoyed his performance, as well as enjoying the play itself. R.I.P. Noel.

There was also a TV movie from 1974 called "Judge Dee and the Monastery Murders" with Khgh Dheight as the title character, which I have seen and enjoyed several times. Apparently, it was meant to be the pilot for a TV series about Judge...

Re: Films ending with the opponent falling to his or her death (reply)
There was a recent article, I saw recently, on this topic, which remarked on how many of the villains and villainesses in Disney's animated films met their death by falling. The ones I remember, plus I am sure there are more, are . ....

This question might have already been answered on this board, so if you could point me the way to it, but if it hasn't . . . This question was asked on another, and as I didn't have an answer for it, I thought I'd ask it...

Re: Wilie Collins famous story... (reply)
I have seen this film on television. Though, I don't remember how closely it follows the novel by Wilkie Collins. I would also add, some regard this as being character actor John Abbott's, who plays Frederick Fairlie in the film,...

Re: Hammer goes agism (reply)
Yes, though not about ageism. I say the filmmakers at Hammer films were making a statement, when most of the villains in the films are from the upper classes (counts, barons, etc.), the heroes are from the educated middle classes...

There is a creative use of barbed wire in Dario Argento's "Suspiria," maybe not as creative as in "Silent Hill," which I have yet to see, but creative nonetheless.
