It was stated on Serial Squadron that a lost sound serial has been found. I'm hoping for JUNGLE MYSTERY (1932).

BUCK ROGERS 70TH ANNIVERSARY from VCI- really nice sharp copy (from television prints .filmcraft inc ) plus a slew of extras (on BUCK ROGERS, and BUSTER CRABBE) -2 disc set. Also from VCI -a two disc set of THE GREEN HORNET .

"Mixed bag" is indeed the phrase to use with Alpha Video product. There are some titles they have, one called OFFICER 13 - I think - with a very young Mickey Rooney featured in the cast - that looks and sounds amazing good for such a rare early ...

Alpha's product is a mixed bag. But when they're good (such as the WS of THE LAST MAN ON EARTH, which they released months before MGM), they're amazing value for the price.

I've seen ALPHA DVDs which ,especially considering the cost, look quite good(then again some prints are splicy, etc).

I have yet to see a really, really good copy of THE PHANTOM CREEPS from anybody. If VCI can find one and do a great restoration job, "my hat's off to them"! Their version of THE MIRACLE RIDER was superb! They could have done a better restoration...
