person who lists the thirteenth movie picks a new subject. Hopefully there will be a bit of interest ,but if not, then the thread will just die an ignonimous
death. We'll start it of with something fun and easy, movies with winged creatures.

One of my favourite films of all time, especially the performance given by Dennis Price as Louis Mazzini, the charming cad who murders his entire family in
order to succeed to the title of Duke of Chalfont. Much as I admire Sir Alec Guinness for his multiple roles (and for his legacy of other superb
performances), the film really belongs to the brilliant Dennis Price - a matchless speaking voice, and wonderful screen presence:

such unpretentious stuff like The Three Stooges would be big DVD sellers in 2009 compared to whatever the more distinguished Ruth Chatterton was doing that
year? For a lot of people of course this wouldn't matter since they have no movie memory before 1990. But for those who look at the larger picture,

Bergerac", into a teenage context. The play is written in a classic serio-comic vein and Mark Schwann's screenplay attempts that tone, too. The
problem is that we get a double-dose of the play' s comic conceit - one teen-ager, Ryan (Shane West) will help another, Chris (James Franco) get to romance

film. Today, it seems to be a great deal of trite material although it's written with a certain amount of affection. But perhaps in 1953 it just seemed
to be much fresher. It's basically the story of a soured Korean War veteran (Richard Widmark) who is now training raw recruits for warfare and seems

But I don't want to just suggest the same movies again -- THE LEMON DROP KID, THE REF, FEMALE TROUBLE, REMEMBER THE NIGHT, THE THIN MAN -- so I'm in the market for suggestions.
