course, this included quite a number of westerns (Range Busters, Jack Randall, Tex Ritter, etc.). And, what each of these films had which immediately made them
recognizable was their scores.

theme for <em>Airport</em>, Rozsa&#39;s gorgeous <em>Private Life of Sherlock Holmes</em>, and the Basil Kirchin score to <em>Dr. Phibes</em>.

The movie's title theme song, which is very haunting and plaintive in tone, has reminded me very strongly of another score.
